Can I use my Public Mobile phone internationally?
Public Mobile lets Canadian customers roam within the United States using a 15-day roaming add-on plan.
Public Mobile says their U.S. coverage includes all 50 states, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, but service is Alaska is limited to Public Mobile customers with VoLTE devices.
How do I purchase a Public Mobile add-on?
If you’ll be travelling from Canada to the United States and you’re with Public Mobile, log into your Public Mobile app or log into your account online.
Select the ‘Subscriptions & Add-Ons’ tab for more information on the U.S. roaming plans you can add.
What if I’m travelling to a different country and I’m with Public Mobile?
We recommend chatting with Public Mobile to see if your destination is covered. If they does not provide coverage in your destination, you can always opt to temporarily disable your Public Mobile SIM card.
If your phone supports eSIM, you can download an eSIM (digital SIM card) for your destination and use that for prepaid mobile data on your trip.
