Formerly known as MetroPCS, Metro by T-Mobile is a prepaid mobile brand that uses the T-Mobile network to connect its customers.
While Metro by T-Mobile does not directly provide service outside of the United States, international roaming is available for selected countries through agreements with third-party carriers.
Since Metro by T-Mobile only operates within the United States, you must be a customer in good standing in order to use their international roaming service, and you may lose the ability to use their international roaming service if you fail to pay all required service fees.
If you’re going to be travelling internationally and you want to use your Metro by T-Mobile phone number in another country, contact them directly or store by a Metro by T-Mobile store to ask for specifics.

If you’re using an eSIM for all data usage, you have disabled Data Roaming for your Metro by T-Mobile SIM, and you have opted out of any automatic Metro by T-Mobile roaming plans, they will not charge you data roaming fees.
