How does eSIM work?
An eSIM is an embedded SIM card, and you probably already have an eSIM-compatible device. When you install an eSIM for a country or region, it lets your device connect to local networks in that area. This means your device will have data without needing Wi-Fi or paying roaming charges.
Saint Martin is divided into two distinct sections: the French section and the Dutch section.
Saint-Martin (French):
- Covers the northern part of the island.
- An overseas collectivity of France.
- The capital is Marigot.
- Official language: French.
- Currency: Euro (EUR).
Sint Maarten (Dutch):
- Covers the southern part of the island.
- An autonomous country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
- The capital is Philipsburg.
- Official languages: Dutch and English.
- Currency: Netherlands Antillean Guilder (ANG) and also widely accepts US Dollar (USD).
